Family Nutrition Kit
The Family Nutrition Kit is a very simple
irrigation system, costing approximately US$3 per kit. Consisting of a double
layered 20 litre plastic bag and 4 rows of drip lateral tubes, the Family
Nutrition Kit can irrigate an area of 20mē, expanding to 40mē if required.
Micro-tubes allow the irrigation of crops at regular intervals meaning an
improvement in both crop yield and quality. The kit provides irrigation for 44
to 88 rows of vegetables and other plants and is ideal for use in household
gardens, particularly in urban areas where space is limited. The Family
Nutrition Kit is both simple to use and durable, lasting for two to three
growing seasons.
